Merdell “Meryl” Glover Nesbit has worked in the Pee Dee region for over twenty-five years as an English teacher and is now moving into her passion for pastoral counseling. Meryl is currently wrapping up her M.A. in Pastoral Counseling with a cognate in Life Coaching from Liberty University. She has earned a Theology Certificate from the Willmington Bible School, a part of Liberty University, and is a member of the American Association of Pastoral Counselors (AAPC) and the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC).
Meryl believes that God created us with great potential. We are not accidents or mistakes. We are made in His image. Meryl’s mission in life has always been to guide others to reach their maximum potential. James 1:17 reminds us that “Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.” It is with this firm belief that she seeks to help others, rebuild, restore, and renew their minds with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Meryl is the proud mother of three adult children: Tiffany, Charisse, and Logan. She enjoys reading, writing, and watching old movies like Casablanca and His Girl Friday. She views every day as a priceless blessing from God.
