Did you know that May is Mental Health Month? Over the next few weeks, we’ll start each week with a “Monday Mental Health” blogpost to share information and resources. Our goal is to increase understanding, reduce stigma, and help you better support yourself and others.
Let’s start with a simple definition.
What is mental health?
Just like our physical health relates to how our body is feeling, acting, and functioning, mental health is a similar look at the health of our mind and heart. How are you feeling emotionally? Do you feel stressed or peaceful? Do you feel happy or sad?
We all have “mental health” just like we all have physical health. This month, we’ll simply be exploring what this means. Join us each Monday for more!
